I received a message from a fellow photographer last month (the talented Kristin Anderson!) asking me if I’d be interested in participating in a little weekly freelensing project called The Free 52. I was absolutely honored she had asked me to join but a little hesitant since I’m already committed to a 365 project this year. I did a little soul searching and realized freelensing is a technique that I adore, and what better way to advance that skill than to shoot weekly and join a community of like minded photographers that feel the same! I’m amazed at how much easier it already is to freelens after just a month of more routine practice, and I even did a client shoot partially freelensed and had a blast doing it (an example in the last photo of this series). So behold, Little Trees month of January, freelensed-style!

Lovely images! My favorite has to be the dog and the pink skirt, it just grabs me and has a lovely order and feel to it. All your photos are beautiful!
