I’m so dang excited to unveil this new website, so why not start off with a little story + a giveaway. If you’ve looked through my photos or know me at all, you know I love a good story. Nothing grandiose, often it’s just the simple things in life I want to document so as not to forget. The other day we washed the cars with the girls, and I figured I’d snap a few photos of the nonsense involved with two tiny mess makers trying to clean something they often make dirty. 😉
So yes, perhaps it’s just a bunch of shots of them washing my car. But guess what? These shots make me immediately remember the feeling in those moments. The silly giggles as H pointed her hose at me, and little J getting upset when too many bubbles got on her arms (hence the running away shot at the end). And that’s the gift of photography, friends.

So now for the little giveaway. I am so incredibly excited and happy for you! It must be so rewarding to create a website and expand your photography business. I am one of your biggest fans, I am sure you can tell by my Instagram stalking. James and I want to take engagement pictures in the fall with the pretty leaves. I love your photography and I think we would feel comfortable with you considering I know you. Email me sometime so we can talk about engagement photos or maybe I will see you at work soon. I would love to have a maternity shoot of Andrew and I taking walks outside, since we are so grateful to be able to do that this time. Or of us reading to the baby or playing the piano for her. Just a very special time for us to enjoy the summer and having a nice normal/healthy pregnancy:)
