I met a gal named Jocelyn 2 years ago at a photography retreat. My friends and I became instant friends with her and another lovely photographer, and it was a beautiful weekend full of shared passions and many laughs. Since then we’ve kept in touch, following each others art and supporting one another in this often overwhelming and competitive world of photography. Jocelyn reached out to me this past winter telling me she’s visiting Oregon and would love me to photograph her family. I was nervous because I adore her art and want to impress her, and we agreed to swap sessions which made me even more excited. Swapping photoshoots was sooooo darn exciting and I simply loved having our families meet. The kids became besties in a matter of minutes, and we wished we had more time together as families. I totally adored photographing her sweet families connection, it was simply beautiful as you’ll see below. Here’s a bit of our evening together on the gorgeous Oregon Coast.
